The first week is going to be a mix of table work and stage combat.  It’s fantastic going through the whole play and talking about relationships, characters, and what OUR production is going to be. We feel like we’re in grad school again – and really loving getting to know this text inside and out.

Combat-wise, we’re working on a physical vocabulary for us and the audience.  The first ‘brawl’ consists of 6 different characters fighting (all being played by two actors). We want it to be visceral, and at the same time show off our sword skills.

Now, off to some grant research and more fundraising!
